Muse Challenge # 28

Hello!

Back today with a card I created for a challenge from the Muse Blog. The idea with the challenges here is that you use the inspiration piece as a ‘Muse’ for your own creation. This means you could use any or several aspects of the design for your own creation eg colours, layout, textures, images, style, embellishments etc. Such a great idea.

Here is the inspiration piece for this challenge.…..

And here is my take on the Muse!…….

My interpretation of the Muse features the polaroid frame image.  This image is very versatile for creating many different types/styles of cards as you can place a variety of icons and sentiments into it. In this case for a back to school card using some school related images and sentiment.

Supplies: Card – Bazzill Juicy Pear, PTI Dark Chocolate, Vintage Cream, Pure Poppy. Patterned Paper – Bazzill Avalon and Pebbles 6×6 paper pads. Stamps – PTI Back to School. Dies – PTI Back to School and Fabulous Frames ,Lawn Fawn Hearts. Inks – MFT Red Hot and Sour Apple, PTI Dark Chocolate. Button from my stash. Fiskars Paper Trimmer, Martha Stewart Mini Scoring Board, WR Memory Keepers Corner Chomper

See you soon!

  2. This is so fun – love the bright punchy colours! Thanks for playing along with this week’s Muse!

  3. Hi Kathryn, thanks soooooo much for your warm, uplifting comment on my MUSE entry! My card’s rather bright and busy; then again, so too is that 3 year old niece I gave it to! Your card here is fantastic! Reds and greens, with a snippet of black; school images (apple is super adorable); the frame…all adds up to an eye-catching, winning combination! I’m definitely going to take a stroll through your blog; looks like a whole bunch of talent and creativity to be found!! Have a most excellent Sunday!
