Muse Challenge # 30

Today I have my latest creation for The Muse challenge Blog. I purchased the Penny Black In a Row die about a week ago so was excited to use it on this project…..although I also have some Halloween plans for it!!

Here is the Muse…….

especially for you

And here is my card………..

I used the general layout as well as the pretty colours! however I decided to reverse the bird silhouettes and have them in colour and the background in black.

Supplies: card – PTI White and Limeaid Ice, SU Coastal Cabana, MFT Orange Fizz, Bazzill Liquorice. Die – Penny Black In a Row. Stamp – Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler. Ink – Versamark with American Crafts White Embossing Powder. Fiskars Paper Trimmer. Martha Stewart Mini Scoring Board. WR Memory Keepers Corner Chomper.

See you next time!

  1. Oh how clever to do the birds in the colors with a black background–love it!

  2. Ah man, I was thinking about doing this – reversing the front panel – aren’t we clever?! lol! I see it would have worked out beautifully, and I’ll have to go back to the drawing board! Thanks for playing with this week’s Muse!

  3. LOVE how you reversed the inspiration, those colourful lines of birds are just perfect!

  4. Love the colored birds – great take on the Muse card!

Great idea with the color changes! I love it when someone turns a challenge on its head but can still be on target with the challenge. Well done!
