Muse Challenge 34!

Hi there!

Today I have a card for you for the latest challenge one at Muse!

Here is the Muse………….

Little Note-1

A really cute card by Therese Calvird!

Here is my take on the Muse……..

I stuck pretty closely to the Muse but I decided to colour behind the windows and doors with my Copics. I stamped a greeting as I thought this would make a cute new home card and added a couple of tags to the twine bow.

Supplies: Card – PTI White. Stamps – Clearly besotted Stamps A Little Sentimental and PTI Heart to Heart # 6. Ink – SU Daffodil Delight and Chocolate Chip. Wooden house Embellishments – Prima. Tags – SU Tiny tags Punch. Copics – R27, E27 and Y08. Twine – SU.

Thanks for looking!

Muse challenge # 33!

Hello Everyone

Here is a card that  I have created for the latest challenge over at Muse.

This week’s muse was created by Laurie Willison……….

I really like the asymmetric layer on the card and the cute anchor background stamped on pink card. So for my card I decided to use a nautical theme  with some October Afternoon  Seaside papers and also the layout with the asymmetric layer. I added a cute anchor and stamped a custom greeting with a Paper Smooches alphabet set to finish.

Here is my card……..

Supplies: Card – PTI White, MFT Red Hot. Papers – October Afternoon Seaside 8×8 paper pad. Dies Spellbinders Nestabilities Large Circles, PTI Double ended banner, Paper Smooches Anchor. Stamps – Paper Smooches Alphdot. Ink – Jenny Bowlin Spice Tin

Back soon! Enjoy your day!

Muse # 32!

Hi Everyone!

Time for another challenge over at Muse. This week the muse is a sweet card made by guest designer Lori Tecler……….

For my card I decided to turn the design around and make a portrait card using the card layout. Apart from that I kept the design quite simple using some woodgrain embossed cardstock and papers from Prima Secret Crush.

So here is my interpretation of the Muse………

Muse Challenge # 29

First of all I have to say how much I am enjoying the Muse Challenge blog! Having a Muse is very inspirational in fact even the word muse inspires me! I also particularly love the way this Challenge blog gets is all interacting with each other by commenting and voting…..I love it!

So on to this weeks Muse………

And here is the card I came up with…………

As I mentioned in my last post I really  love holiday cards….all types! But my favourite is Halloween I could make them all day but living in the UK is not the best for a Halloween lover like me as we do not really celebrate it much and very few people give Halloween cards… boo!  But at least I can make them for my blog right?……Yay!  So look out fro more Halloween cards coming up soon!

My interpretation of the Muse uses the layout of the sketch for my card. This layout is a great design offering scope for many themes or styles of cards.

Supplies: Card – SU Black, MFT Grape Jelly. Patterned paper – Doodlebug haunted Manor 6×6 pad. Stamps – Paper Smooches Halloweenies. Ink – Memento Tuxedo Black. Copic markers – YG23, YG25, YR16, YR18, C3, C5, C7, V15 and V17. Dies – MFT Sentiment Strips. Punch – Martha Stewart Bat. Jewels – Doodlebug Halloween Collection.

Thanks for visiting!

Muse Challenge # 28

Back today with a card I created for a challenge from the Muse Blog. The idea with the challenges here is that you use the inspiration piece as a ‘Muse’ for your own creation. This means you could use any or several aspects of the design for your own creation eg colours, layout, textures, images, style, embellishments etc. Such a great idea.

Here is the inspiration piece for this challenge.…..

And here is my take on the Muse!…….

My interpretation of the Muse features the polaroid frame image.  This image is very versatile for creating many different types/styles of cards as you can place a variety of icons and sentiments into it. In this case for a back to school card using some school related images and sentiment.

Supplies: Card – Bazzill Juicy Pear, PTI Dark Chocolate, Vintage Cream, Pure Poppy. Patterned Paper – Bazzill Avalon and Pebbles 6×6 paper pads. Stamps – PTI Back to School. Dies – PTI Back to School and Fabulous Frames ,Lawn Fawn Hearts. Inks – MFT Red Hot and Sour Apple, PTI Dark Chocolate. Button from my stash. Fiskars Paper Trimmer, Martha Stewart Mini Scoring Board, WR Memory Keepers Corner Chomper

See you soon!
